PED 112 - Fitness Center Activity III 1 Credit Hour(s) • 30 Contact Hours (Physical Education) Prerequisite: PED 111 Serves as an advanced exercise course designed for individuals interested in attaining a high level of total fitness. Includes an individual fitness evaluation, computerized analysis of results, and a prescribed exercise program. Focuses on the basic components of fitness including flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and body composition. The primary mode of training will be Aerobic Circuit Training. The circuit training is supplemented with additional work on the specialized weight machines, dumbbells, treadmills, rowers, stair climbers, cross trainers, Nordic track, versa climbers, and running track available in the Fitness Center.
