CSC 230 - C Programming: Platform 3 Credit Hour(s) • 60 Contact Hours (30 Lecture, 30 Lab) Prerequisite: CSC 160 , MAT 121 Prepares students to be a better programmer using the C programming language. C is a mid-level language whose economy of expression and data manipulation features allows a programmer to deal with the computer at a low level. The goal is to learn skills that are usable in many languages and understand what is happening at the machine level. The student should already understand the control structures selection, iteration, and subroutines (functions/methods).
