Secondary Education Teacher Preparation allows students to complete a transferable associate of arts or science degree preparing them for transfer to a four-year college or university in Colorado where they can complete their Bachelor’s degree and teaching credential in two additional years. Students identify a major and transfer institution prior to enrolling for courses and must meet with their faculty advisor before registering for classes to insure transferability of courses to their chosen institution/major. Areas of Certification in Colorado are Art, Communication, Drama, English Language Arts, Foreign Language, Health, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies.
