IPP 122 - Aspects of Interpreting II 3 Credit Hour(s) • 45 Contact Hours (Lecture) Prerequisite: ASL 123 (Grade of B or higher), ENG 121 , IPP 121 (Grade of B or higher) Note: Completion of ASL 221 or concurrent enrollment Provides a more in-depth study of the field of interpreting, expanding on the basics introduced in IPP 121 . Lecture/discussion sessions will address ethical decision-making and cultural issues, as well as the various settings in which interpreters work. Students will have opportunities to observe various professional interpreters throughout the semester.
