HIS 247 - 20th Century World History HI1 3 Credit Hour(s) • 45 Contact Hours (Lecture) Prerequisite: CCR 092 Investigates the major political, social, and economic developments, international relationships, scientific breakthroughs, and cultural trends that have shaped the various global regions, empires, and nation-states since the late nineteenth century. This course focuses on developing, practicing, and strengthening skills historians use while constructing knowledge and studying a diverse set of narratives through perspectives such as gender, class, religion, and ethnicity.
