HIS 236 - U.S. History Since 1945 HI1 3 Credit Hour(s) • 45 Contact Hours (Lecture) Prerequisite: CCR 092 Examines the major political, economic, social, and cultural developments that have shaped modern America from 1945 to the present. This course focuses on developing, practicing, and strengthening skills historians use while constructing knowledge and studying a diverse set of narratives through perspectives such as gender, class, religion, and ethnicity.
