HIS 207 - American Environmental History HI1 3 Credit Hour(s) • 45 Contact Hours (Lecture) Prerequisite: CCR 092 Discovers and analyzes the relationships between Americans and their natural environments throughout the history of the United States. This course examines the development of conservation movements and environmental policies in modern America. This course focuses on developing, practicing, and strengthening skills historians use while constructing knowledge and studying a diverse set of narratives through the perspective of gender, class, religion, and ethnicity.
