GER 1011  German Language I: GT-AH4  5 Credits  
​Develops students’ interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communicative abilities in the German language. This course integrates these skills in the cultural contexts in which the language is used and offers a foundation in the analysis of culture.
GER 1012  German Language II: GT-AH4  5 Credits  
Expands students’ interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communicative abilities in the language. This course integrates these skills with the study of the cultures in which the language is used and offers a foundation in the analysis of culture and develops intercultural communicative strategies.
Prerequisite(s): GER 1011 with a minimum grade of C or GER 111 with a minimum grade of C or Prior College German with a score of 1011  
GER 2011  German Language III: GT-AH4  3 Credits  
Continues the development of increased functional proficiency at the intermediate level in speaking, aural comprehension, reading, writing, and cultural competency in the German language. This course is conducted predominantly in German. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-AH4 category.
Prerequisite(s): GER 1012 with a minimum grade of C or GER 112 with a minimum grade of C or Prior College German with a score of 1012  
GER 2012  German Language IV: GT-AH4  3 Credits  
Continues the development of increased functional proficiency at intermediate mid level in speaking, aural comprehension, reading, writing, and cultural competency in the German language. This course is conducted predominantly in German. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-AH4 category.
Prerequisite(s): GER 2011 with a minimum grade of C or GER 211 with a minimum grade of C or Prior College German with a score of 2011
